why does my 2002 jeep gchrkee whistle like tea kettle only when off gas petal?

This is nuts but check for a plugged engine breather.. Remove oil fill cap to see if whistle stops... Pull air filter out and check for rodent nest... Just something I've seen at the shop!... Also possible vacuum leak at throttle body mounting gasket.. Can only offer best guess here...
