Why did my cruise control stop working?

Hello, Check your fuses first, and then see if your brake lights come on when you press the brake pedal. The brake light switch is what turns off the cruise control when you press the brakes, so this is a common culprit. If your brake lights work, that is not a sure indication that the switch is good, as you will need to see how many circuits (wires) run through the brake light switch. You can find the switch touching the brake pedal lever, under the dash.
