What is your question?
The motor has a tick now like a lifter or valve after overheating repair. It seems more sluggish than before especially going into 2 gear. When it was overheated the gauge went all the way hot and then went to cold as it was hot? Replaced water pump, thermostat, clutch fan, clutch, and radiator cap. It is runnning cool but at higher speeds the gauge sometimes goes over the middle line on gauge, sometimes up to 3/4, but doesnt go all the way hot and as slow down it goes back right below middle gauge?
How long has your 2013 Ram 1500 had this problem?

*Hands-on* evaluation will be required - ticking noise is indicative of a valve train problem.. Do not see an engine size but the 5.7L Hemi had some problems within the valve train + camshaft and lifter issues.. As for the overheating concerns that too will require *hands-on* diagnosis. Good luck!
4.7L HAD issues with exhaust valve seats dropping out of the cylinder heads.. 3.7L same thing. Need to HEAR IT running!
