What is your question?
whine- whistle-rattle like sound coming from under front of vehicle when engine is under a load...e.g. accelerating uphill....sounds like something is loose..like a belt. One shop said it was the alternator belt...relaced that but sound is still there. No sound at idle or low rpm...only when accelerating. No noticeable affect on performance Could it be the alternator itself wearing out...a bearing or pully mechanism? Or the front differential? There is also a second noise, intermitent, a kind of click-psssch sound when accelerating and turning...it is a soft sound...no thuds or thunks or vibration...do not feel anything in the wheel at all The dealer wanted $200 just to diagnose...and none of this would go toward the repair! Any ideas/suggestions would be appreciated....thanks

You mentioned a rattle, that could be a loose heat shield on the exhaust manifold. Should be able to weld right up for cheap at the muffler shop. Otherwise, find someone who will raise the previa, run it and listen for the noise while underneath.
