the alternator has failed and drained your battery completely,or the drive belt has broken,and you were running off the battery until the battery drained/discharged. if the belt broke,then depending on if it's an 8 Rib,12 Rib,or a 15 Rib Belt,then the belt cost is from $32.00-$75.00...if it's the alternator that has gone out,then it's $175.00-$560.00..all these prices are if you buy the parts yourself and you do the work yourself..have a parts store re-charge your battery,it's a free service they offer.
