Where is the hvac blower motor resistor located?

What is your question?

I’m 99% sure I’ve diagnosed the problem. Just need to find the resistor to replace it! Blower changes speed spontaneously, or cuts out sometimes. When blower runs, heat or AC flow as expected. Often, fan will change with auto stop—goes to lower speed then stays there, for example, or comes on after not running. Blower is smooth and noise-free when it runs.
