Just replaced the fuel pump, relay and battery still no start without ether. Cannot hear the pump come on, suspect driver module. Need to know where the fuel pump driver module is physically located.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Cold makes it worse

check the inertia switch first,see if it is tripped,if so just push the red button back down. if it's not tripped and you have battery voltage at the inertia switch using a helper to cycle the key to on while you check for battery voltage at the two wires coming into and going out of the switch,without unplugging the switch. you will only see voltage for a couple of seconds,so repeat as needed ,cause it is quick on,off! if you have power in/out,then move to the FPDM. NOTE::the only test you can do for the driver is to check for power and ground coming from the relay/fuse panel. the module test can only be done with a Ford IDS scan tool. most of the time the FPDM rust out where it bolts up,and will be very noticeable....
Its right next to the left rear coil spring attached to the floor pan. So get under there, look at the top of the coil spring and you will see it. Alex
