Where is the cabin air filter in the 2001 Highlander 6 cy.

All though I see a cabin air filter shown by aftermarket parts suppliers I just looked at a repair manual and it does not show one. On all Toyota products the cabin air filter is located behind the glove box but I am 95% sure the 2001 Highlander doesn't have a cabin air filter. To verify you could call the Toyota dealer ask for the parts department and ask them how much the cabin air filter is? If there is one it will be behind the glove box.
Where is the cabin air filter in a 2001 4runner and how do you replace it !
may be late in the answer..but..the air filter does go behind the glove box, when i went to replace mine, i found there was not one there in the first place..but it will fit,
