There is a vacuum line that has been cut with a sensor, I don't know what sensor, the sensor is still plugged in and working but they cut off the hose and zip tied it to the strut tower brace bar. its on the driver side of the engine and I need help. It's causing me to get 15mpg, idles bad, and causing a whistle when accelerating.
What makes this problem better or worse?

Hi, my name is Devin. I am an auto repair expert with the Car Genius team here at RepairPal. So sorry to hear you're having trouble with your vehicle. That cut vacuum line and sensor on your Integra GSR might be part of the intake system or emissions controls. It's likely connected to the intake manifold, fuel pressure regulator, or even the idle air control valve. If left open or disconnected, it can cause poor fuel economy, rough idling, and the whistling sound you're hearing. Check around underneath your intake manifold, around your fuel pressure regulator and your intake air bypass (IAB) vacuum tank for possible open vacuum ports.
