I have a check engine light P0741 is the code. Torque Converter Circuit Performance or Stuck off. Where can I check the fluid level of the transmission (I thought maybe there was a leak in the torque converter) but the car runs and shifts fine. Also where can I check the torque converter circuit, and how do you reset it, if it is stuck off?

There is a special procedure to check and adjust the fluid level on this tranny. Also, there is a TSB for this problem. You need to remove the torque converter and check the turbine shaft seal - it's at the bottom of the converter - for deterioration. It's usually bad, that's what causing the leak internally. The transmission's computer demanding a certain torque, but due to internal leak it can't be achieved, that's when P0741 sets. If you want the whole TSB, post an e-mail and I'll send it to you. Zee
