when hooking wires from coil to engine do i (a)hook wires from the # on coil 1,2

I have the same vehicle at my shop,but a customer is using it right now. I looked it up and see if it make sense. Standing in front of vehicle; Left to right on rear cylinders=1-2-3 Left to right on front cylinders=4-5-6 Ignition coil-Plug harness facing towards you. Left to right on rear of coil=4-6-5 Left to right on front of coil=3-2-1 If it doesn't make sense,i'll see if i can post a picture link.
