What is your question?
Dash lights and dashboard alarms go off without warning, including abs brake warning and battery light. It usually happens while idling at a stoplight. Headlights flicker while idling. If I turn on the heat. If I roll up/down windows, or use power locks or power seat button. During night driving, dash lights go crazy, sudden loss of power , dash goes black, car dies. But no problems with battery when AAA shows up. It starts right up. All this came on suddenly; literally on my drive home from a checkup at a reputable repair shop. The guy said all he did was check some "codes". He used a device to get some kind of readout down under to the left of the steering wheel. The symptoms got worse over several months and now car wont start. Never one problem with my car for the 5 years I owned the car til that day.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Idling but not in park. Anything electrical; seats, windows, heat, power locks, lights, radio.
How long has your 2005 Ford Taurus had this problem?
Months. I drive less than fifty miles per week.
