So my 2004 Cadillac escalade an I was doing down the road an she tries to overheat so I park her an hours later I notice a puddle of coolant under so I get it towed home an get to crawling around an a set spot on the back right side of the motor not sure where it was coming from. Get to looking around more an notice my a.c. belt is hanging would that be the cause of her wanting to overheat an loose fluid
What makes this problem better or worse?

I suppose it's possible the a/c belt could have damaged one of the coolant hoses - but the belt “hanging†in itself will not cause this problem since there are two belts .. Strongly suggest closely inspecting 'weep hole' in bottom of water pump for any signs of coolant leakage .. Water pump failures on these engines are very common. Cooling system pressure testing may be necessary.
During thus process the reason for a/c belt run off should be conspicuous.
