What will cause only the speedometer and rpm gauge to stop working

What is your question?

Transaxle light was on. Gauges started working then stopped again. Check engine light came on also.Codes from computrt are P1740,P1779,P1743 and TLIC- By rights this car should not even move however seems to shift fine. Transmission rebuilt at 42000 know has 49000. Any ideals on gauge issues

Patrick thanks for the reply. The ironic thing is the transaxle light also goes off. I was able to hit on the dash board and the gauges came back on worked for 1 day then went out again. I tried hitting the dash board again with no luck. The fuel and temp gauges work fine. Any other advice would be appreciated
