Possibly you ran something over and it's stuck to the exhaust system.

Oil may be dripping onto your exhaust. Remove the plastic belly pan(it is held on with a hand full of screws)to see if it is wet with oil. If it is wet you may have an oil leak that is spraying onto the exhaust while you drive.
