As I accelerate I hear a thumping noise that sound like a flat tire, however all the tires are full and none are leaking, and as the car coasts it stays steady. What could be the cause of this? I heard someone mention rotors and someone else mentioned possible ball joint, any advice to help me narrow this down would be greatly appreciated.

more info needed here it is difficult as you haven't given a possible area of concern ie...(the thump comes from under the vehicle round the transfer case sounds like a bass drum or some one kicking the chasis etc...try and get someone to help you as you drive get them to move safely about the cabin to see if they maybe able to localise the thump to a certain area)and then tell us of the parts of concern sorry am unable to help more at this point,although would be willing to see what you have to add to be able to help later after you retrieve more data.
