Truck goes into limp mode but turn off engine and start back it's fine. Goes in the limp mode more when it's cold and service light and abs light comes on when in limp mode

Hello, there are multiple possible causes of "limp mode". One is related to electronic throttle body function (if equipped). Another would be engine temperature related. Another could be automatic transmission related. With warning lights comes available data within modules that can be accessed with a proper diagnostic tool capable of interfacing with chassis modules, for example, for the ABS light. When the diagnostic trouble codes are retrieved, it can help pin point the source of the problem with further testing.
