What is involved in replacing a timing belt on a 1998 Toyota Rav4

it is a labor intensive job. if you have not done it before, i suggest letting a shop do this for you. as well as the belt, you need to replace the tensioner, pulleys and the water pump. it is pricy, about 600-800 in our area. check the repair tab at the top for prices in your area. Roy
