SOME TYPE OF KNOCKING UNDER HOOD / AS PER DEALERSHIP HAS WATER IN ENGINE NEEDS REPLACEMENT

a long block new is about 2700. labor is about 18 hours plus all the odds and ends. vehicle still new enough to justify replacement. Roy

You may want to get a second opinion, because if the head gasket failed, sometimes that can be replaced and not the whole engine.
