What is causing the oil leak on a 200 Toyota Scion Xb? It affects my power steering, and can’t steer car, and wants to turn off, when too much oil leaks on the engine. Then car won’t start, but we jump it, it starts right up again. We can then start smelling oil, and car just wants to turn off, once too much oil gets on engine. My husband cleans the oil off the engine with water n degreaser, and jumps it, and it’s works fine again and starts right up.
