What is your question?
Problem recently. After my car has sat, parked in the sun for a while, I get in my car to drive again, start the engine and I get a constant beeping alarm reading exactly "Adaptive Cruise Control System Problem See your Dealer". with another light flashing "Brake System" and another yet, (the Cruise Icon) flashing on and off also. The lights will keep flashing and audible alarm sounding on and off for approx. 10-20 minutes until only when the A/C has cooled the interior down. Then all goes away and appears normal once again. It happens much more if car is parked facing more direct sun or to the south. Happens less if car facing the north. Also, just so happened that a week again my windshield was hit by pebble which now has cracked the windshield near the upper windshield sensors but at least one full inch away from the sensor (camera at top of windshield). So crack does not directly go over the sensor itself but over the black plastic unit that contains the sensors.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Worse if parked in Sun facing south
How long has your 2022 Acura RDX had this problem?
1 week

Hi this is Dusty, I'm one of the auto experts on RepairPal's Car Genius team! Sounds like quite the headache! Chances are that all of those system are linked and only one of them is experiencing the issue which is being magnified by the heat. With ADAS (Advance Driver Assistance Systems) they'll usually require a visit to the dealer, they're proprietary and technicians use special equipment and training for diagnosis and repair. The crack is for sure unfortunate and salt in the wound, hopefully this situation can be remedied in one visit!
