Car has been stalling off and on for about a week but have been able to restart with no issues. No codes have appeared until today when I got the P0685 code regarding Emmissions. Any idea what the underlying issue might be?

I too have an RDX with a similar issue, it stalled on the interstate. I managed to pull off the moving lanes. The car would start but turn off again in seconds. I tried this about 6 times, thinking maybe something was in the fuel line. Clearly starting was not the issue but gas to feed it once started appeared to be. At any rate, we had it hauled in to the Acura Dealer. It sat overnight and for the next day, they couldn't get the car to perform the same issue...it simply started. They ran it out of gas thinking maybe the fuel pump or one of the two fuel pumps. two weeks later and I can hear a very faint high pitch sound. It is so faint it is hardly noticeable. The sound seems to get louder when I accelerate or brake. Still thinking the fuel pump. I have to say, not reassuring if you have to drive over the elevated interstate bridge with no room to pull over if it stalls. Have called Acura again, waiting for a call back to see if they will check it out again.
Wow, not sure our issues are the same as I don't have a unusual noises. However, I also had my car in with the dealership for a week while they attempted to duplicate and track down the issue. Long story short, the dealership couldn't find anything wrong with my car but charged me $175 diagnostic fee. As the issue continued after that, my husband began checking the cabling in the car and discovered that my battery power cable had begun to corrode. Thinking that we may need to replace the cabling in the car, we began calling around to obtain price estimates. Dealership wanted over 2k but our local mechanic asked us to bring it in to look at the cabling before we took the step to replace. They looked at it and advised that they would like to clean the cable and see if that cleared up the issue. They only charged me $45 and had the car back to me within hours. It is now over a month later and have not had any more stalling issues. Have you had any batteries replaced recently or have you possibly checked for cable corrosion?
