What could cause a vehicle to not start intermediately?

Every once in a while, engine turns over, but won't start. Wait about 10 minutes, and starts fine. Will continue to start with no problem for a while, then won't start again. Wait about 10 minutes, and starts fine again. No other problems.

Unfortunately, intermittent issues can be difficult to diagnose, even for a skilled technician. Before taking it in for service, check the fuel pump relay when it will not start next time. If it is not clicking on sometimes, you have your symptoms identified. If you have a check engine light on, diagnose this first.
