Reverse drive 4 and 5 went out but will engage into gear but engine just revs when hitting gas pedal.... can drive with sst gears perfectly fine...there is no indications on dashboard that anything is wrong no warning light at all
It was low by two quarts of fluid got it filled but still no drive 4 or 5 reverse pops in sometimes now and also my sst gears are reading 2,3,4 not 1,2,3 everyone keeps telling me a scanner can't read the car because it has no check engine or warning showing up on dashboard I don't know what else to do....I have been googling the symptoms and it keeps coming up with a 4-3 prestroke valve body spring?
A diagnostic tool can indeed interface with this vehicle, and one that has a data stream capability will be needed to see what gear the engine's processor is calling for verses the gear that the transmission is actually in. This helps during a diagnostic process. By the way: Google doesn't know your car or what's wrong with it! It's like doing a search on what's causing my headache and finding out I might have cancer............
