What is your question?
2011 XJL 5.0L NA engine keeps overheating. I've replaced all the pipes, thermostat, water pump, temperature sensors, radiator fan, flushed the radiator and the heater core. The car blows hot air, and runs but when turning the car off and then turning it on again, it starts overheating. Almost the whole cooling system is all new parts except the radiator and heater core (which have been flushed). The car has just thrown these 2 codes ( P0126 & P0420) simultaneously. Any suggestions? There is no white smoke anywhere in the car, no obvious signs of leakage as the coolant stays at the same level. No oil mixing with coolant or coolant mixing with oil. The system has no air in it. There was once particulates in the coolant which is why I flushed the system.
What makes this problem better or worse?
If the car is driven, then turned off for a while, then driven again.
How long has your 2011 Jaguar XJ had this problem?
For a month and a half. More so a few days as I've worked on the car and replaced parts.

Hi, my name is Devin. I am an auto repair expert with the Car Genius team here at RepairPal. I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your vehicle. It sounds like you've been very thorough with replacing the cooling system components in your XJ L. The P0126 code indicates a coolant temperature that is too low. One of the first things you could try is using a diagnostic tool to reset all of the computer's learned values and then verify proper temperature sensor operation. If the temperature sensors are good, the overheating might be due to a partially clogged radiator, even after flushing, which could prevent proper coolant flow. Another possibility could be an issue with the catalytic converter, especially with a P0420 code present. This could cause excessive heat buildup, especially if it's getting clogged. Additionally, you may have an intermittent issue with electrical components such as the thermostatic switch in the radiator or the radiator cooling fan module.
