What cause my car to smell mold and need a jump after going thru water.

As far as the vehicle goes, a few questions: -How deep was the water? -Did the engine die when you drove through? -How fast were you going? -Did the fault start while you were still in the water, or after you got back to dry ground? -Did the check engine light come on? Was it on before? -Is there a gas cap warning light? There are many issues deep water will have on a vehicle, and these questions will help me understand which ones you may be experiencing.
