What are the reasons a BCM will shut off power to the fuel injectors?

I have a 2011 Chevy Malibu with intermittent "crank-no start" symptoms. The fuel pump was just changed and that didn't fix it. If I knew all of the reasons that the BCM shuts down the fuel injectors, I could trace the problem. This happens about one time per week. It will "crank-no start" and then start perfectly 20 minutes later.
