WATER LEAKING INTO PASSENGER FOOT AREA

Chances are the cowl drain is plugged/clogged with debris. If the cowl area (where the heat/AC draws outside air from) is full of water and cannot drain properly, it spills into the interior through the heat ducts- usually to the passenger side. However, this could aslo be a leak from the heater core. If this 'water' smells funny and/or has a green color, it may be coolant dripping onto the floor as well.
