vibration when braking

What is your question?

I was having a problem with the ABS light coming off and on as well as a vibration problem that shook the steering wheel under hard braking conditions. I took it to the shop and they replace the rear disc pads, which were in bad shape, and the service manager said this should stop the problem. I am still having the ABS light coming on intermittantly and still have the vibration, which will shake the steering wheel, especially under hard braking conditions. Any ideas before I spend any more on getting this resolved? Thanks!
