What is your question?
I was experiencing a vibration mainly on my legs when driving the car. It went for a service and repair and they told me and replaced the rubber mountings of the engine and gear box as they were cracked I was told. Now the car it does not vibrate as much when still but you can feel a vibration more when accelerating. It is a strange type of vibration - it feels like when you are hit with a strong sound wave, it is hard to explain. if you drive for about 40-60 min you get off the car and it feels like you were having a massage in your feet, sometimes you get this tingling feeling. Now they are telling me it is the tyres although they are only 5 months old. Can you help on this please.

Worn engine mounts/transmission mounts can easily cause vibration. If the vibration is felt on moderate to hard braking (perhaps aggravated by braking on down hill) it could be warped front brake rotors, the vibration would primarily be felt in the brake pedal and or steering wheel. If there is a vibration felt in the steering wheel usually at 50 to 65mph it is usually caused by tire imbalance and may require the wheels to be balanced. It is best when you bring your car to a repair shop for this type of complaint to insist a mechanic goes for a test drive with you so you can demonstrate the problem and they can experience exactly what your concern is. Perhaps have the tires rotated front to rear if they are the same size and see if the problem changes in any way.
