Vehicle turns over great but will not start. Think it's a fuel issue?

My 2009 mercury mariner cranks over but won't start. There's no check engine light on and this happened suddenly. Sprayed starting fluid in and it started right up, but quickly died out again.

What makes this problem better or worse?

How long has your 2009 Mercury Mariner had this problem?

Since Feb 18th. I can't figure it out. I have no help and only have one leg!
