What is your question?
It turns over, but won't crank. The distributor, cap, rotor, plugs, wires, are new. I changed the coil and it started in my driveway and seemed ok, but when I went for a test drive it stalled down the road and wouldn't start again.

what happens when you spray starting fluid in the throttle body and try starting it?
maybe you should check the timing belt, sometimes they go out and the car wont start it will just turn over.
this truck is not equipped with a timing belt,on either of the 5 engines for this year.
Thank y'all for all your help. I guess I was chasin multiple bogies. After all that, I changed the coil wire and started getting a good spark and it would start but wouldn't stay running. I changed the fuel filter and it's been running great. Thanks again
I tried that. It's getting fuel, and the wire from the coil to the distributor gave me a good spark. Possibly ignition control module?
got good spark coming from any of the spark plug wires?
None at all
take the ignition control module off.go to a parts store and have them test it..i'm pretty sure it's bad,but let them test it several times to heat it up.
Will do. Thanks a lot for your assistance
you're welcome. post findings.
Could the throttle position sensor also be the culprit? I'm just asking because I'm in a very small town and it's a long way to the closest auto parts store. UPDATE::: New ignition module installed. I'm getting a small spark at the plug but still won't crank. Any ideas?
pick up coil may be bad or internal distributor fault and the distributor will need replaced. that's why i said to get the parts store to test the ICM.
