2014 ford fusion - just had flex plate replaced. Got car with 32,000 miles on it & now it has. 220,000 on it. Now i have a drag on it when taking off or passing. It has small exhaust leak. When on engine light throws code po299. Never had these problems before work was done. Could the turbo underboost not be working because of exhaust leak?

Yes, you would want to repair any exhaust leaks before guessing at anything further. But with that kind of mileage, you could also have restrictions and build up of carbon and coking of the turbocharger preventing proper boosting. As always, diagnostic testing and using a high end diagnostic tool like the Ford IDS tool is essential in checking and monitoring component operation and data to help figure out what is going on.
