Turbo charger boost pressure sensor

(2007 Pontiac Solstice GXP)
in Fithian, IL on August 26, 2015
Took the car in to have a check engine light diagnosed. Turbo charger boost sensor was showing as the reason. My normal mechanic does not work on turbo engines but he can order the part. All dealers are asking double the part amount so I can imagine the labor will be crazy. Does anyone know if this sensor is difficult to replace or any one locally in central Illinois they would trust to do the work?

If you are still looking for help with this St. Joseph Automotive & Diesel can help. 217-469-2018. A boost sensor code does not necessarily mean you need to replace the sensor. If you still have this problem we'd love the opportunity to check it out for you.
