Hello, If the damage was that far back, you likely have damage to the front of the engine. This would be the belts and pulleys on the front of the engine, motor mounts, transmission mounts, and a plethora of other items. Have someone hold the brake and shift from reverse to drive repeatedly, and note the amount of movement in the engine and any clunks you hear. If you have excessive movement or clunking, replace your mounts. You may also have a broken subframe bolt which allows for movement of the entire front subframe assembly on the front of the vehicle. Wrecked vehicles can be very easy to repair, or they can have grimlins for the rest of their service life. You just have to go through and touch and wiggle everything, check the torque on all subframe and suspension, check alignment, etc. This can be frustrating, I know. I used to do this at freightliner, and it takes a good 6 hours on a vehicle that you can sit underneath without lifting.
