To adjust the bands on my 4speed auto tranny i need to know what type it is 46re, 47re or 48re How do i tell? All three have different adjustments

According to Purolator the 45RFE is the Hemi the 47RE is the V-10 the 48RE is 5.9 Diesel But just to be sure http://forums.dieselpowermag.com/70/7943503/cummins/dodge-cummins-48re-transmission/index.html Hope this helps
