Transmission slow to engage at first start up.

(2012 Ram 1500)
Transmission works perfect, no noises, slipping etc. however that's only after I let it warm up at it's first start up. Seems the torque convertor leaks out if not run for a day or so. Is there a valve or other mechanism that should be preventing this? (@80 miles now with flush done at 50K miles. Fluid looks good)
How long have you had this problem? Approx last 20K miles.

Pretty sure there’s a kit available that’ll take care of this - you need to contact local transmission specialist - - general auto repair facility may be able to assist.

It is actually valve body modifications / upgrades.

To lengthy to post the details - maybe can find some information from a Ran forum - however this plages other Chrysler - Dodge vehicles as well.

Good luck!
