What is your question?
2000 Honda Accord, SE, 2.3 liter engine, 4 cylinder. P0700 (transmission control module) and P0780 codes. I am thinking about replacing the module. I see a replacement part at Cardone. It looks like the power train module and transmission control module are combined in the same computer. If I replace it with the cardone product, does it have to be programed?
How long has your 2000 Honda Accord had this problem?

Hello -- STOP. Do not replace parts without testing. You're wasting your money. The chance you have a control module concern is slim. You likely have a problem related to the P0780 code -- which is torque converter related. Could be an electrical concern with a solenoid, or more likely an internal mechanical issue being that we're dealing with a 21 year old vehicle. The P0700 does NOT mean there is a module concern! So don't do it! Don't guess. You're wasting your money. www.repairpal.com/repair-shops
