ive had my od flash on before, shop guy said not to mess with it until it did it again. no surprise here: last time he said it was most likely a piece of garbage stuck in the system that got worked out because the light went off with in a day or two. now the car is doing this ''vrooming'' thing when accelerating from a stop. also it is threatening to stall although it doesnt. i put a small amount of radiator stop leak in the radiator to combat my mini coolant leak. also when i went to top off my coolant levels i went to put some all car coolant in. well surprise when i put the bottle of Prestone in thinking, 'god this is watery' but didnt think too much of it knowing most of our things at the house are premixed. when i came back later i was told that was straight water. so i went to the other bottle and poured some of that in to combat the water. idk if that did nething, could have. dont know whats going on!

My od flashes too, and that means you need repairs in your transmission. Get the guy to hook up the diacnostic machine and see what error codes it's sending to your computer. If he can clear them out, and the car runs okay afterward without a flashing od light, then you're good. If not, you'll need a new tranny. Trust me, it's not worth it with this car. The tranny will cost more than the blue book value at this point.
