Rebuilt engine, everything new. Hear a little rattle under the hood but nothing major until today when the rattle became a loud knocking noise. Shut it off right away and had it towed home. Now it won't start at all, will turn over, and I checked plugs and getting fire.

Take off the valve cover, look down the cylinder head/timing cover area and see that the timing chain guides and tensioner are OK. Set up engine by rotating the crank pulley set it up on TDC and look at the cam sprocket timing mark make sure it is OK. After that verify fuel pressure and injector trigger and spark.
