One of the four tire pressures is blank in the information box on dashboard. None of the tires look flat.

What makes this problem better or worse?

The sensors in each of the wheels have batteries in them .. It's very possible the battery has naturally discharged .. It is also possible the sensor has simply failed .. Any 'up to date' tire shop should be equipped to take care of this for you.
