timing chains

Hello, I am aware of a timing chain, but not a "primary and secondary" timing chain. What are you referring to? To get the answer to this direct question (cost of timing belt replacement), you would have to speak to local repair facilities near you for competitive quotes. It is not a "normal" repair to do this work. A more appropriate question might be to ask why this work appears to be needed?
