Do I need to support the engine when I remove the lower motor mount bolt and spacer to replace the timing belt?

I can't find any listing for a timing belt for a 97 LeSabre. Do you mean timing chain? if so please get a repair manual before attempting this repair. Did the timing chain break although not unheard of it is fairly rare.
