2002 Camry - nothing in owner's manual under "timing chain" or "timing belt" (the car is used and maybe documentation is missing) - is it a chain or a belt and when should the chain/belt be replaced? Thank you!

Hi Juantwo, The 2.4L 4 cylinder has a timing chain and doesn't need replacement unless it is worn out.

lawrenceg is correct, no timing belt in this engine, no maintenance required.
