What is your question?
I've replaced the bulb in the past with success. The other brake lights and tail lights work properly. Are there separate fuses for the brake lights and where would they be located?

If a bulb doesn't fix the problem, check the contacts in the socket for corrosion and cleanliness. If that doesn't fix the problem, further diagnosis of the wiring, connections and grounds will probably be necessary. We would be happy to check that for you at your convenience. I hope this helps. Thanks. Your suggestion of checking for corroded contacts fixed the problem.
