the clock and compass turn off when car is off, is this electrical

Hello, not sure why all those parts were replaced; sounds like more to the story than would be enough to consider in this forum. Why is there a problem with the clock and compass turning off with the vehicle off? I understand if your turn signals are not working properly - testing is required for that alone.
