The car shuts down when in park with the door open (collecting from the mailbox)

As described. It happens at least half the time. I also find inconsistent locking with the touchpad. This happens often. Wiper ( especially the rear) scratchy noise. The SUV has less than 5000 miles in 6 months. Audi has a problem with the wiper blades. We have 2 Quattro wagons also. Wipers scratchy,noisy within a short time. Pricey to replace. Audi has poor design.

What makes this problem better or worse?

How long has your 2018 Audi Q7 had this problem?

Since I bought this SUV brand new. I have not gone for service yet.
