I replaced one of the break lights that had gone out and now the tail light warning light on the dashboard won't go off, even though all the break and tail light are working. How do you get this warning light to go off?

Make sure the bulb you replaced was the correct type/wattage, ,make sure the third brake light and both brake lights at both side of the car work. I think it is 5 bulbs in total. I have seen problems with the wires getting damaged at the driver's side trunk hinge at the trunk lid, also check all tail lights work. After replacing any bulb you have to turn off the key and turn it on again to get the light to reset. If the problem is intermittent check the white black wire at each bulb holder that is the ground and they come loose.
Thanks, I'll take a look this was very helpful
