what type of oil is used in the supercharger and how can i service it myself

The oil for the supercharger is GM part #12345982. I cannot not find a recommend service interval for changing the oil. The oil level should be checked every 36 months or 30K miles. The plug for checking the oil level is just to the rear of the front section of the supercharger. The oil level should be a the bottom of the threads when the plug is removed. I suppose if you wish to "change" the supercharger oil you could suck the old oil out and add fresh oil. As I recall the oil sump in the supercharger is not very big - one bottle of GM oil should fill the sump after removing the old oil.
