strong rubbing noise when open & close windows

What is your question?

In the past 2 months both front windows make a squeaking rubbing noise when raised & lowered, especially when window almost into door. It has not been in intensive rain... I am in Los Angeles....... actually my car is 1987 but only has 83000 miles.... I am a senior who does not drive a lot & repairs can be very expensive so hoping for a simple tip.... thank you...
